Daniel Yeomans began his project management career in the United States Air Force, where he was named Air Force Project Manager of the Year in 1985. This early recognition set the stage for a lifetime of excellence in the field.
With an impressive array of certifications, Daniel holds the PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), Risk Management Professional (RMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), Scheduling Professional (SP), and Professional in Business Analysis (PBA) credentials. He is also certified in Scrum and Product Ownership through both Scrum Alliance and Scrum.org, holds the Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) certification from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and Certified Process Mapping Specialist from Advanced Innovation Group Pro Excellence (AIGPE).
As a distinguished educator and course developer, Daniel has led project management training seminars for the U.S. Air Force, where leaders from all service branches came together to master project management principles. He has developed hundreds of courses for organizations including Microsoft, Skill Up Technologies (over 30 courses), and tailored programs for Green River College and Seattle Colleges. As the primary project management lead for the Northwest University MBA program, he continues to influence the next generation of project leaders. His courses on Coursera have reached a global audience of over 170,000 students worldwide—a number that grows daily.
Daniel is also known for creating customized project management and leadership programs for leading companies in the Seattle area. Subjects include negotiations, process management, communications, and building trust and respect to name a few.
